Toasty and Warm!

The team of knitters :)

Suzie enjoys her comfy new blanket!

After a particularly nasty bout of wintry weather Mrs Wilkinson suggested that we made peggy squares and made a blanket for our school Guinea Pigs Butterscotch and Suzie.  Some of us took on the challenge, learnt a new skill and produced a great blanket for our pets!

I wanted to help the Guinea Pigs because if I were them I would want them to be warm! Lucy

I knew I would help them out because I would not like to be cold :) Evette

I wanted to help because I wanted to keep the Guinea Pigs warm. Sophie

Those guinea pigs are very lucky to have a classroom of caring kids keeping an eye out for them. Thanks Room 9 for the wonderful job you are doing looking after Suzy and Butterscotch.
